Last night with Loic and Wendy

Sadly our time in St Jean had to come to an end but of course Loic and Wendy treated us to a wonderful meal for our last night - Chef had bought some fish and mussels from the markets - and he whipped up the most amazing butter sauce with garlic, ginger, mussels juices, eschallots, capsicum and cream - it was wonderfully light. We also had aubergine (eggplant), courgettes (zucchini) and beans (beans!). We had a fun night looking through some old photos from the Sheraton Belgravia days and then got our last bit of help to navigate our way to the outskirts of Paris where we had to drop off the car.  
I was so sad to say goodbye to the Fallourds - but we're now cooking up plans for Wendy to come to London, and then to get their whole family visiting us in Australia. Let's keep our fingers crossed and start buying lotto tickets! Thank you Wendy, Loic, Leah and Curtis for our wonderful stay!!
