Moving on to the next adventure!

After a lovely last night at Chateau La Gorce celebrating Joseph's birthday, it was time to pack up and say our goodbyes. We left at around 9.45am and started heading north with much excitement (for me especially) as we were heading to see Wendy and Loic.  We took the scenic route and headed for a beautiful little town called Pons, a 12th century town which the kids loved because it had what looked like a real castle. We all loved the flowers around the town square too, and Finbarr found his first French playground that wasn't attached to a kindergarten so he could finally play on it - a very pretty stop!  Next stop was Cognac, for obvious reasons - again a lovely place to stop and somewhere Damian would like to explore more thoroughly!!
