Bordeaux

What a lovely day - we walked around Bordeaux, shopped, ate (again), and took in the sights. It is such a pretty place with the beautiful buildings and Cathedral of St Andrew. We had kept an article from 'The Australian' which detailed the best of Bordeaux, so we hunted down the best bread baker, Grand Siècle, and it was worth it - the baguette was still warm, and absolutely delicious. Peggy and Tink took a bus tour around town, while Seamus and Liam came with us and walked. Liam and Emily won the prize for most shopping, and Seamus fulfilled his dream (!) of trying McDonalds in France - quite good apparently, but the pommes frittes needed more salt! Alice and Finbarr tried out the local ice-cream and macarons.
